SPIRITUALITY “Space to Meet with God and to be Led into a Deeper
Knowledge &
Experience of His Love & Presence” MISSION ‘Spirituality’ is the nature of our relationship with God and as our vision statement above suggests, the Centre seeks to present and promote programmes and events to grow men and women in a deepening experience of God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. VENUE A calendar of events will be offered at the venue in Walmer and in addition the Centre desires to make available a variety of ministries in churches to meet the needs of the local parish. RESOURCES People and programme resources are drawn mainly from the Anglican Diocese as well as other denomination in Port Elizabeth, and include the group of Associated Ministries promoted under the umbrella of the Centre as follows: SPIRITUAL DIRECTION is the role of listening to the story of another person’s Spiritual Journey and helping them to discover and appreciate God’s movement in their lives. NEW WINE MINISTRIES is a nation-wide network, with international affiliation, seeking to draw people deeper into relationship with God through passionate worship, inspirational teaching and ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit. THE THIRD ORDER OF THE SOCIETY OF ST FRANCIS is a community of men and women; some married, some single, living in their own homes and doing their own jobs, who encourage one another in living and witnessing to the Christian life. CHRIST HEALING FELLOWSHIP is a non-denominational group of people involved in the Christian Healing Ministry who offer healing services and ministry. ALOE CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION - perhaps better known in this diocese as, Christian Listeners, brings the healing of Jesus Christ to a broken world through the ministry of listening to God, self and one another. RETREATS & QUIET DAYS are organized to enable people to set themselves apart to be with, and listen to, God. These take place at a variety of venues and cater for the needs of Christians at different places in their journey with the Lord. INTERCESSORY PRAYER promotes, teaches and practices this vital prayer ministry within the life of the Church . Please pray as the foundation of the Centre gathers momentum and make contact with the Centre as follows:
